Index Card Expectations

For major exams, you will be able to use your collective notes/homeworks to prepare and review before each test. You will be given a 3x5 index card and Study Guide to complete during class the day before each exam. Your index card, if completed correctly, may be used during your test to pull knowledge from previous work. I will provide you with some examples of well executed notecards for reference before your first test. The below criteria must be met in order to to take advantage of this privilege. 

Guidelines:

1. Your index card will be issued by the teacher with your personal information on it. It is not interchangeable. 
2. Your index card must be handwritten. No typing.
3. You may fill it with any formulas, examples and notes you feel will be beneficial to use during the exam. 
4. You will staple your index card to the front of your exam when you have completed the test and turn it in.  
5. If you forget your index card, you will not be able to use any other study material during the exam. It is your responsibility to keep up with your index card and bring it with you to class. 
6. You may not share your index card with another student or it becomes invalid. 
7. If you abuse this privilege in any way, you may lose the ability to use it in the future.
