Welcome to Art Class

ART 1: Students will be introduced to a wide range of beginning level art projects including art history, drawing, painting, and mixed media activities.

 

ART 2: Advanced art projects will include canvas painting, watercolor painting, sculpture, advanced drawing and sculpture.

 

ART 3: In this advanced level, student artists will work on individual projects in a self-paced environment.  Students will begin art portfolios and present a one-person art exhibit of their work in the Spring.

 

ART 4: Advanced artists are expected to produce creative, original works that reflect their philosophy of art.  They will work on individual projects at a self-pace.

 

CERAMICS: Students will learn all basic pottery techniques in hand-built, and throwing on potter's wheel.  They will create clay projects and use glaze techniques.
